In a perfect location to experience the Lake District National Park's outdoor wonders and with spectacular surrounding views, this is the ideal spot for an idyllic country getaway. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by ample off-road parking before entering this welcoming little home-from-home. The living/dining room is a cosy area where you can relax in the comfy seating, to enjoy your favourite Netflix show on the TV. Rustle up a tasty meal in the well-stocked kitchen, which benefits from a washer/dryer for any laundry needs and a dishwasher - no washing up! After dinner, climb the stairs to the two restful bedrooms, a double room with superb views towards Harter Fell and a twin room (with beds that can be zip/linked to a super-king-size on request) enjoying stunning views towards the Coniston range and onto the garden. Both bedrooms share a tiled family bathroom with a bath with shower over. The secluded enclosed garden is perfect on a sunny afternoon for alfresco dining at one of the two dining areas while your furry friend runs free on the lawn; or simply relax and watch the visiting birdlife and view the fells beyond. Enjoy one of the pretty scenic walks from the doorstep, or venture further afield and spend the day exploring Walna Scar, or the Coniston Range and the renowned Old Man of Coniston peak, and visit the nearby historic Hardknott Roman Fort, before ending the day with a delicious home-cooked meal at the nearby Newfield Inn.
Travel to Broughton-in-Furness, a small picturesque market town nestled in the Duddon Valley, where you can find all your amenities in one place, including a selection of pubs and a petrol station with a well-stocked shop.
