While the night away outdoors, dining alfresco and socialising, as the wine is poured and conversations flow, before climbing into the hot tub for an indulgent soak. Two well-appointed bedrooms are on offer, a double and a twin, both serviced by a shower room. On your doorstep you'll find a selection of shops, pubs and eateries to take advantage of, along with the Penrith and Eden Museum, Penrith Castle, and Thacka Beck Nature Reserve, all worth visiting whilst in the area. History buffs will also enjoy touring Brougham Castle and Mayburgh Henge, both within proximity of the lodge, before heading into the national park, aiming for Keswick; enjoy touring Keswick Museum and the Derwent Pencil Museum, take to Derwentwater for an afternoon of watersports, or don your walking boots for a hike up to Underskiddaw.
