The owners respectfully point out that the road to Wynford is very narrow and as such extra care is required when driving to the cottage. It is also the case that due to the narrow lane supermarket delivery vans cannot deliver to the house and so it is recommended that if you need shopping from a supermarket you visit the popular Booths supermarket, ten minutes by car, in Windermere where you will be able to buy all you could need.
If you can pull yourself away from this beautiful residence, a short walk will find you in the heart of Ambleside where you can enjoy restaurants, cafes, shops, traditional pubs and even a jazz bar. For a memorable day out on the fells, the popular circular walk of Fairfield Horseshoe goes past the front door of Wynford.
