The surroundings are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the heart of Hadrian's Wall Country, and provide excellent walking and fishing (there is fishing on the North Tyne 2 minutes from the property). The cottage is also located on the spectacular burn gorge walk, which leads to Hadrian's Wall. With the amenities of Haltwhistle close by, as well as access to attractions such as Alnwick Castle and the Heritage Coast, this makes a truly great base for a family holiday.
