Within easy reach of the Lake District’s many renowned sites, 8 Woodlands welcomes you with handy off-road parking, allowing you to unpack with ease. Enter into a lovely open-plan living area where you can cook up a heart-warming meal in the kitchen, enjoying it at the dining table before settling into the sitting area beside the contemporary electric fire as you catch up on your favourite TV programs.
There are two bedrooms within the property, a double with floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, and a single, as well as a shower room. In the afternoons, recline with a glass of your favourite beverage on the decking and enjoy the countryside air.
A short distance from the property you will find the scenic town of Torver, boasting a 19th century church, a deli and a selection of tasty eateries, as well as a convenience store where you can stock up on essentials.
Visit the village of Coniston where there is the Ruskin Museum and a selection of eateries. From here you can visit the many excellent walking trails through Duddon Valley, Hawkshead and a little further from the property, Ambleside, home to many independent shops and close to the beautiful Lake Windermere, ideal for walks, watersports and cruises along the picturesque waterscapes. Coniston Old Man offers mountain bike trails, whilst history lovers can enjoy an afternoon at the Beatrix Potter Museum or Duddon Furnace, the National Trust Wray Castle or Swinside Stone Circle. From the property you will also be able to reach coastal walks and beaches at Ulverston, and animal lovers can visit Lakeland Wildlife Oasis or South Lakes Safari Zoo.
