Briar offers a superb position, close to the estate's on-site facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool and children's play area, while scenic woodland walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep. The nearby village retains bundles of character, together with quaint tea rooms, gift shops and traditional pubs to try. Hawkshead is famous for its links to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, who’s Old Grammar School can still be visited today, where you can see his name etched into his desk.
