Penrith is a beautiful, historic, market town with lots on offer for visitors. It has many independent shops, boutique cafes and lovely cobbled streets. Why not take a trip to the cinema or take in a show at the theatre? The quaint town of Keswick is only a 25-minute drive away. Keswick is a great centre point for exploring the North Lakes and has a variety of museums to visit, or you can enjoy a boat trip on Lake Derwentwater.
