Languishing in the heart of the captivating Lake District town of Broughton-in-Furness, The Anvil is a charming cottage which is the ideal destination for a family holiday or for a group of friends travelling together. Literally right on the doorstep there are a number of delightful amenities including a well-stocked Post Office and a pub, making this the ideal base for exploring the local area. Step into the elegantly-presented cottage and the visitor is greeted by a warm and welcoming sitting room complete with comfy-looking sofas, an attractive gas woodburning-effect stove and a TV, a wonderful spot for chilling out in the cooler months and either catching up on each other’s news or enjoying some telly time watching your favourite programmes. Step into the gorgeous kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with everything needed for a delicious family meal and when it’s time to serve up, take a seat at the informal breakfast bar or make a meal of it by sitting down at the stylish dining table, where you can look forward to long, leisurely meals together. If the weather allows, then you can take the party outside into the enclosed courtyard where you can relax in comfort and enjoy some time alfresco. When it’s time for bed, make your way to one of three delightful bedrooms including the master with a king-size, plenty of storage and an en-suite shower room, a double with its own TV and a twin.
