Continuing through the property, there is a king-size bedroom, for you to rest and rejuvenate, along with an en-suite shower room so you can freshen up in style. Outside there is also a second decked area to the side of the property, offering a separate external space, as well as designated parking at the front of the lodge for one car. A stone's throw away there is a footpath which allows access to several miles of local woodland and countryside walks, and also a short walk away is the historical village of Cartmel which boasts charming streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, traditional pubs and the acclaimed Michelin Star-awarded L'Enclume restaurant, as well as the beautiful ancient Priory and the racecourse, it is known as being the prettiest village in the Lake District. Within driving distance is the popular and stunning Lake Windermere, where it is bustling with museums, cafes, an aquarium, historic sites, water sports and much more. In the other direction, there is the picturesque Edwardian seaside resort town of Grange-over-Sands, with its popular woodland views, delightful traffic-free promenade, a choice of golf courses and excellent bird watching opportunities. In the area there are lots more breathtaking paths and cycle tracks to explore within Grizedale Forest or around the coast towards Humphrey Head, with views over Morecambe Bay.
