The centre of this historic village of Ambleside is a short walk away, as is magnificent Lake Windermere, with its myriad of water sports and cruises. The area provides a great selection of eateries and shops, Ambleside Roman Fort, a golf course where you can try out a game or two and a short walk to Stock Ghyll Force. Why not leave the car behind and enjoy the many lovely walks direct from the cottage. Watersports can be enjoyed in abundance, and there are many more incredible walks to be enjoyed throughout the Lake District National Park, including the Old Man of Coniston, and Scafell Pike. One double bedroom. Open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area. Bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC.

On-site parking space for 1 car. Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster. WiFi, TV, DVD, Radio, CD. Double bedroom with large walk-in wardrobe. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. All fuel and power inc. in rent. 5 minutes walk from shops, supermarket, pubs and restaurants in central Ambleside. 5 minutes walk to the very popular garden centre with cafe and gift shops. Books, puzzles and games in the property. Travel cot available on request but please bring your own bedding. Secure bike storage. Patio area with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.
