Outside, make the most of the sunshine in the small patio area, ideal for enjoying outdoor dining and an evening tipple. The bedroom welcomes you to catch your rest, whilst the bathroom is ready to refresh you. The centre of this historic village of Ambleside is a short walk away, as is magnificent Lake Windermere, with its myriad of water sports and cruises. The area provides a great selection of eateries and shops, Ambleside Roman Fort, a golf course where you can try out a game or two and a short walk to Stock Ghyll Force. Why not leave the car behind and enjoy the many lovely walks direct from the cottage. Watersports can be enjoyed in abundance, and there are many more incredible walks to be enjoyed throughout the Lake District National Park, including the Old Man of Coniston, and Scafell Pike.
