Romantic strolls amongst the woods and green rolling landscapes all around you and days out on the steamers that cruise Lake Windermere from Lakeside pier will make your break special. We suggest, too, a visit to the Swan Hotel beside the river at Newby Bridge for some great food and relaxation in the excellent spa facilities, and a romantic journey into the Levens Valley on the vintage steam trains that run on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway.
