The other is a twin bedroom, beautifully panelled with oak floorboards. A shower room with WC and basin is also included for guests to refresh after a long day. Outside there is private parking for one car and the apartment provides views onto the delightful hustle and bustle of the street below. Just a short walk across the road will take you to the restaurant. Set in the heart of Keswick, just a short walk will take you to what this central Lake District town has to offer, including pubs with homecooked meals, fires and real ales, restaurants, shops, museums and even more just a few steps away. Keswick is famed for its outstanding natural beauty, and there are a variety of walking tours available and short drives will take you to the top of Skiddaw Mountain or the beautiful Derwentwater Lake. Further afield, Keswick is just 14 miles from Cockermouth, which is home to the beautiful National Trust property of Wordsworth House and Garden where visitors will have the chance to learn about the famed poet and experience life in the 18th century, as well as visit the Jennings Brewery. In the other direction are the towns of Grasmere, Ambleside and Windermere, making this a great base from which to explore the Lakes. Fox’s Den is the perfect spot for a couple looking for that romantic getaway or a family looking to explore the natural beauty of the landscape around them.
