The sunny bedroom also benefits from an en-suite bathroom, complete with a roll-top, claw foot bath; just the place for a long soak after a day exploring Canterbury, which is only three miles away. The sitting room is warm and cosy at any time of the year, or guests can enjoy dinner with a glass of wine or two and watch the evening sun disappear over the garden through the French doors. To explore Kent, this Chartham cottage is in the perfect location, with road and rail links close by, in fact the railway station is just a five minute walk away, and you can be in the heart of Canterbury before you know it, and without having to take the car! Alternatively, guests could choose to walk or cycle along the Stour Valley Walk which follows the river from Chartham all the way into Canterbury, followed by a visit to Canterbury Cathedral after lunch, a trip down the river and then can enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants, before taking your seats at the theatre in the evening.
