Queen Victoria is said to have favoured Shorwell over any other village on the Isle of Wight. Apart from outstanding walks and exhilarating mountain biking, just a few minutes' walk from your Isle of Wight cottage you will find The Crown Inn, as featured in the AA's Britain's Best Pubs 2011 and 2012, and well worth a visit.
