Newport, often regarded as the main town on the Isle of Wight is just four miles away and has a wide variety of amenities including shops, restaurants, bars and a multi-screen cinema. For history lovers there is plenty on offer with Carisbrooke Castle, Newport Roman Villa and museums within a short distance of each other.
