The property

Nash Cottage is a well-presented, three-bedroom semi-detached property nestled within the village of Kingsland, Herefordshire. Presented to an excellent standard with off-road parking, an EV charging point and an enclosed garden, Nash Cottage welcomes families and their canine companions for a delightful retreat to Herefordshire. Internally, the property features a well-appointed kitchen/diner, housing an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and even a washing machine, so you can keep on top of your laundry. While away the hours in the lounge, catching up on your favourite shows from the Smart TV whilst the woodburning stove gently heats the space. Alternatively, escape to the conservatory and lose yourself in a good book. Spend balmy evenings within the enclosed garden, savouring your favourite tipple whilst your pooch roams the space. The bedrooms lie upstairs and include a king-size, twin and single, each neutrally presented with hanging rack for your clothes. A bathroom and wet room complete the interior, so you can best decide how to freshen up in the morning. The local village of Kingsland is a charming base, offering two splendid pubs, The Angel Pub and The Corners Inn, along with a Morrisons supermarket, resting three miles away. There is also a Post Office with a shop where you can grab the essentials. For those who enjoy walking and cycling, the area surrounding Kingsland offers many excellent routes, taking in superb views of the rolling countryside and dotted with traditional pubs. Visit one of the nearby National Trust properties, including Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, whilst there are plenty of unspoilt villages to box off, including Leominster and Ludlow, offering their own character and charm. Many fun, group and family-friendly activities can be enjoyed in the area including a high wire rope course, paintball, quad trekking and raft building, all of which are available at the local Oaker Wood activity centre. Nash Cottage is ideally situated to enjoy The Hay Festival in the half term week 25th May- 3rd June and is well placed for fishing on the River Wye all year round when permitted. Shobdon Airfield is three miles away and offers trial flights for the more adventurous. Travelling further afield the Elan Vally Dams make a great day out, and the beautiful Welsh Coast is less than two hours away. The city of Hereford is well worth a visit, home to one of the oldest Cathedrals in the United Kingdom, with its fascinating 13th century Mappa Mundi ‘world map’ and the captivating, chained library.
