There is a great village pub a 15-minute country walk away, and the nearest shops, takeaways, and amenities can be found in Fordingbridge, just over three miles away. This traditional town rests on the banks of the beautiful River Avon and is famous for its beautiful medieval Great Bridge with its seven graceful arches, a major feature that draws visitors to the town. As well as providing a gateway to the New Forest the town offers picturesque walks, a good selection of shops, excellent pubs, restaurants, and takeaways. You can explore the stunning surrounding countryside of the Cranborne Chase AONB straight from the front door and enjoy a varied and diverse landscape of rolling hills, ancient woodlands, chalk grassland, and river valleys.
