Dumfries 12.4 miles. Tucked away in the peaceful green countryside some 12 miles from Dumfries, is Glen View. This detached cottage sits in the middle of a 100-acre forest with wild deer, you can even catch glimpses of these majestic animals coming to drink from the pond within the grounds. With spacious rooms and lovely stone features, there is a real sense of character throughout this charming abode, making the ideal spot to bring your family and friends for a relaxing holiday. Step into the open-plan living room and get cosy by the woodburning stove on a cool winter's night. Find a quiet spot to get your teeth into a good book or get competitive over a board game with the whole family around the coffee table.
