Enjoy plenty of walking and cycling in Galloway Forest Park and for watersports enthusiasts take a visit to Loch Ken. Further afield, is the larger town of Dumfries, where you will find a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy, as well as Dumfries Museum, the Robert Burns House and the Garden of Cosmic Speculation.
