Apartment 5 Victoria House is a fabulous first floor apartment situated in the popular seaside town of Lyme Regis, on the Dorset coast. Formerly the station hotel, Victoria House is a very spacious Victorian property which has been sympathetically converted to apartments retaining many features typical of the period throughout. With the benefit of off-road parking for 2 cars and sleeping up to 6 guests, this tastefully furnished apartment is ideal for a seaside break at any time of the year.
An internal staircase takes you to the apartment where you will find a delightful open-plan living area with a stylish kitchen and dining area which enjoy far-reaching views over the town to the sea and the Jurassic coastline beyond. A welcoming seating area makes the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Large patio doors open onto the roof terrace, a real feature of this apartment, which has views over the town towards Golden Cap and as far as Portland on a clear day. This wonderful space is perfect for bringing the family together and dining alfresco around the table and chairs.
The spacious lounge with wall mounted TV has a large sofa bed to provide additional sleeping for parties of six guests.
All on one level, the two bedrooms are also located on this floor, a double with ensuite shower room and a twin room. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over and perfect for freshening up for your day ahead.
A short walk takes you into Lyme Regis with its family friendly beaches and iconic Cobb harbour. Popular with bathers and water enthusiasts alike, the sandy beach is a perfect for those looking to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday. Water sports such as paddle boarding are available and for those wanting to get out on the water, boat trips run regularly from the harbour and offer great views of the Jurassic Coast from the sea.
Food lovers will relish the excellent choice of restaurants where you can enjoy local food and beverages or for those wanting the true seaside experience there is nothing better than tucking into freshly cooked fish and chips.
