The property

Molly’s Cottage is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian townhouse with historic features nestled in the notable county town of Dorchester. It is in a prime position to enjoy the idyllic Dorset County, perfect for a group of friends, couples, or a family. On-street parking is available, with two pre-paid permits. Your four-legged companions are also welcome. Step inside Molly’s Cottage into the inviting sitting room, with a feature fireplace, 4K smart TV and plenty of books and games for your enjoyment. The kitchen cum dining room offers a great entertaining space, with ample amenities to cook up a storm. You can enjoy your masterpiece at the dining table or outside in the courtyard for an alfresco affair, a real suntrap to enjoy. When sleep calls, choose between two beautifully-presented bedrooms, each on individual floors. The first-floor is accompanied with an elegant bathroom, featuring a freestanding bath for those indulgent evenings. The second-floor bedroom boasts beautiful brick walls, leading into the shower room, for your very own penthouse feel. Both bedrooms can be made up as super-kings or twins upon request, along with optional chair beds to be setup for an additional guest per bedroom.
Molly’s Cottage is brilliantly placed, with the picturesque West Walks and Borough Gardens located within a short walk. Here you will find a children’s play area, outdoor gym, tennis courts and a refreshment kiosk. Make sure you also check out the bandstand which hosts various events throughout the year. Wander down the road and you will enter the historic Antelope Walk – a favourite for experiencing small businesses and start-ups in the characterful cobbled walk. It unfolds into the main high street leading you towards the Brewery Square, a vibrant shopping, eating, and drinking complex. The town is teeming with history, with Roman roads, the Maumbury Rings Roman Amphitheatre, and seven museums where you can learn more about local history and heritage. There truly is enough in Dorchester to fulfil your days and evenings. When looking beyond, you will be pleasantly surprised with its proximity to the County’s best offerings. One of the most notable is the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site spanning 95-miles of outstanding rocks, fossils, and landforms. Among this area are stunning beaches, nature reserves and seaside towns such as Lyme Regis and Weymouth. Further inland continues to impress, with the historic towns of Sherborne, Corfe Castle, and Cerne Abbas to name but a few. Even without a car you can be sure to experience Dorset’s delights by utilising either of the two train stations in Dorchester, or the well-connected bus services, just a brief walk away. Explore the wonders of Dorset with a stay at the marvellous Molly's Cottage.
