Explore the Isle of Portland by taking the South West Coast path circling the whole island. You will visit the beautiful Church Ope Cove with Rufus castle and XIII century church ruins, three lighthouses with the popular Portland Bill. The island is a heaven for birdwatcher and wildlife lovers.
Visit Quiddles café at the end of the promenade on Chesil beach for a crab sandwich or fresh fish dish. The nearby Cove House Inn is famous for traditional pub food and ales.

The seaside town of Weymouth is only a few minutes’ drive from the property too with long sandy beach and various beach attractions for children and adults alike. You can take a walk to Weymouth and take a bus ride home.
