Spend the day in the resort town of Salcombe, home to attractions such as the Salcombe Maritime Museum and remains of Fort Charles, as well as a handful of charming pubs and excellent restaurants to wine and dine in. Wander the exotic gardens of Overbeck's, now owned by the National Trust, or bask in the sunshine of Salcombe North Sands and Mill Bay whilst devouring a delicious portion of the local fish and chips.
