Visit the famous Tunnels Beaches a short walk, the hand carved tunnels created in the Victorian times, that lead through to a sea water pool and two beautiful beaches. The pretty harbour is also within a short walk where you will find the famous Damien Hirst statue ‘Verity’ that guards over the harbour entrance. Enjoy a walk to the top of Capstone Hill, the viewpoint from the top is well worth the effort! Should you wish to venture out of the town, the magnificent beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe are a short drive, both popular with families and surfing. Take a trip to Lynton and Lynmouth and enjoy a trip on the cliff railway, or don your walking boots and explore the open moorland of Exmoor National Park.
