Enter the property from the street and be welcomed onto the first floor, where a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room awaits. Travel down the staircase to the ground floor to find the lovely open-plan living space, here you can relax on the large corner sofa in the evenings watching the Smart TV or playing a DVD, enjoy meals at the dining table when you're not eating out, and make use of the well-equipped, neat kitchen area. Sit out on the balcony, which benefits from afternoon and evening sun, sipping a refreshing drink after a day of exploring. Head down a further flight of stairs to the lower ground floor and discover the kingsize bedroom and the family shower room with a large walk-in shower. As an alternative to the en suite bedroom on the entrance level, there is a further bedroom with bunkbeds. Step out onto the streets of Dartmouth and begin exploring, find out about the history of the town via the Dartmouth Mayflower Heritage Trail, split into three sections, this trail was created to mark the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower, painting a picture of Dartmouth in the 17th century via a 21st century app you can download to your phone for a self-guided tour! Discover Dartmouth Castle on The Castle Trail and be amazed by this 15th century fortress still standing tall watching over the mouth of the River Dart. Head out on the river yourself with Sea Kayak Devon and take a guided sea kayak tour of the waters, or choose to hire a boat and cruise along the waters at your leisure. The Royal Avenue Gardens are the perfect place for a picnic, with a beautiful ornate stone fountain from 1897, which commemorates Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, and an abundance of flower beds and shrubs. The gorgeous shingle beach of Blackpool Sands is a just a short drive from Dartmouth and is one of the country's favourite beaches. The South West Coast Path presents an easy way to explore the idyllic coast, with lots more coastal villages and towns along the way to admire, including Dittisham, Stoke Fleming, and Slapton.
