Visit the Tudor fortress of Bayard's Cove Fort built in the 16th century before heading up to Dartmouth Castle guarding the Dart Estuary since the 15th century with its imposing stance. Hire a boat from the harbour and venture out onto the water for a scenic cruise along the river or take a Greenway & Dittisham Ferry Service up to the village of Dittisham, one of the most attractive villages in South Devon.
