Head back downstairs to wash away the day in the sleek shower room before fining two delightful bedrooms; a double with a handy en-suite, and a twin. When you’re ready to explore the area, you’ll find the village of Umberleigh nearby, where you can marvel in the beauty of the River Taw and the verdant pastures of the countryside. Further west, you can visit the ancient market town of Chulmleigh, offering an array of delightful pubs and eateries that serve a range of delicious local cuisines, and, for all your shopping needs head to the larger town of Barnstaple for its impressive selection of shops, plus a selection of museums and galleries to explore.
