Hazelwood Lodge, a fabulous, two-bedroom abode is nestled in the picturesque village of High Bickington, Devon, close to the Exmoor National Park. Step into the homely interiors and settle in for a memorable stay; the kitchen/diner is the perfect spot to cook up a feast for all the family, before relaxing in the mezzanine-style sitting room with a sofa bed and balcony. Curl up on the sofa with a glass of something special or, if the weather permits, wander out onto the enclosed balcony where you can marvel at your surroundings a little while longer or indulge a long soak in the tub. Head back downstairs to wash away the day in the sleek shower room before fining two delightful bedrooms; a double with a handy en-suite, and a twin. When you’re ready to explore the area, you’ll find the village of Umberleigh nearby, where you can marvel in the beauty of the River Taw and the verdant pastures of the countryside. Further west, you can visit the ancient market town of Chulmleigh, offering an array of delightful pubs and eateries that serve a range of delicious local cuisines, and, for all your shopping needs head to the larger town of Barnstaple for its impressive selection of shops, plus a selection of museums and galleries to explore.
