Inside, the cottage combines simplicity with sophistication, featuring limestone floors downstairs and wood flooring upstairs. The spacious, light-filled, open-plan living/dining/kitchen area is well-appointed with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric oven, and induction hob, all housed in handcrafted cupboards. The space also includes a woodburning stove, a TV with a Blu-ray player, and glazed double doors on either side—one offering views of the garden and the other opening onto a patio/decked area with lovely, long, wooded rural views. From the living area, two staircases lead to different parts of the home: one ascends to a mezzanine single bedroom with a table football and games, while the other descends to two additional bedrooms. These include a king-size bedroom with storage and TV and a king-size (zip/link) bedroom with storage. The lower-ground-floor level also features a beautifully-presented bathroom with a roll-top, freestanding bath and a walk-in shower, a utility room (with a washing machine and tumble dryer) that opens to a garden via eight steps, and a small shower room with a corner walk-in shower. The cottage sleeps a maximum of four adults and one child. Brilliantly designed, it is highly recommended and conveniently located near excellent cycling routes and walking paths.
