Springfield is a charming house tucked away in the higgledy-piggledy lanes and the conservation area of Kingsand, Cornwall, the Forgotten Corner in the Rame Peninsula. Once home to one of the village's last working fisherman, this delightful retreat is perfect for families or friends, with nearby popular foodie pubs, a village shop, three beaches, and welcoming one well-behaved dog. Park up the car and enter the vibrant red door. Upon entering Springfield, you'll be greeted by the open-plan area, where the kitchen, dining room blend together. The kitchen is well-equipped for all your culinary needs, with a dining area seating four, perfect for enjoying home-cooked meals straight from the stove. The sitting/dining area boasts a TV and is the ideal spot for socialising before and after dinner, or playing a competitive board game at the nearby dining table. The entire area is adorned with stripped wooden flooring and rugs, adding a touch of rustic charm to the contemporary amenities. On the first floor, you'll find two bedrooms; a double room with a TV that overlooks the leafy courtyard, and a neat king size room with a wardrobe. Both rooms offer plenty of storage space for your belongings. The bathroom, complete with a bath and an electric shower-over, is also located on this floor. If you make your way down to the lower ground, you will find the outdoor utility room/cloakroom, housing a washing machine and tumble dryer, is a practical addition to the property, ensuring all your laundry needs are catered for during your stay. The large sitting room, featuring a Smart TV and plenty of seating, provides an additional space for relaxation. This room is carpeted for your ease and features a snug area with a selection of books for your perusal. Outside, you'll find an enclosed, high-walled sunny courtyard with furniture, perfect for alfresco dining or simply enjoying a cup of tea in the morning sun. The courtyard is a leafy, tropical sun trap, offering a tranquil haven for you to unwind in after a day of exploring Kingsand and the surrounding areas. Being located in the Rame Head Heritage Coast (The Forgotten Corner) means there are plenty of golden sand beaches nearby to explore, pack your sunscreen, costume and picnic and take a leisurely walk to one of the numerous beaches, for a fun-filled family day out, take a scenic stroll through Mount Edgecombe Park for a tranquil tour of nature's finest greenery, then indulge in some pub grub and occasional live music at The Rising Sun - just a stone's throw from your property! You can also select from four other dining pubs just a short stroll away in Cawsand and Kingsand. For food, shopping, and art connoisseurs, the historic Royal William Yard in nearby Plymouth will prove an excellent haunt; stumble upon a diverse mix of restaurants, independent boutiques, and galleries for a cultured experience.
