After a busy day exploring, unwind in the spacious living/dining room, settle into the plush sofa and flick on the Smart TV, making the most of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare a well earnt meal. Enjoy eating together at the dining table and toast your getaway while the woodburning stove warms the room, creating a homely and welcoming ambience. The south facing rear patio provides a lovely setting to soak up the afternoon and evening sun, perfect with a good book and a glass of wine in hand. Within the town centre, the Valiant Solider is a former pub locked in time and well worth a visit, showing a variety of exhibits. Nearby, Pennywell Farm is also a must-visit, with its wide range of animals and interactive exhibits or you could visit The River Dart Country Park is a great place for a leisurely walk. The South Devon Railway operating a period steam train on a regular basis from Buckfastleigh to Totnes and return is a unique experience, with time to explore Staverton and Totnes as stops along this route. Totnes offers you the opportunity to tour Totnes Castle, along with Dartington Hall Gardens, Leechwell Garden, and Totnes Museum and Archives.
