Woodside is a lovely all year round holiday home that can accommodate up to five guests, in a superb location to explore North Devon and North Cornwall. Located on the outskirts of the historic maritime town of Bideford, this three bedroom detached house is situated overlooking a green with mature trees in a residential area, and is an excellent property for both couples and families. It has been finished to a very high standard, boasting a combination of luxury Amtico and carpet flooring, as well as SMEG kitchen appliances. The owners have taken great care in furnishing the house, it’s well-equipped and provides guests with a stylish and comfortable base from which to explore the delights of beautiful North Devon and North Cornwall. The spacious, contemporary kitchen with welcoming dining area can cater for everyone, and from here patio doors lead to a private sunny lawned garden with patio and furniture, a place where you may wish to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon tea. The inviting sitting room has comfy sofas, a flat screen TV with Freeview and a catch up service and a DVD player, and there’s free, unlimited WiFi available. There's also the convenience of a ground floor cloakroom. Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms, with the master boasting a modern en-suite shower room, and completing the house is a modern family bathroom. This holiday home is ideally placed to discover all that this area of Devon has to offer. The award-winning Big Sheep all weather family attraction and the Ultimate Adventure Centre are approximately a mile down the road, with the Atlantic Village Outlet Shopping Centre and Supermarket a couple of miles away, and the pretty villages of Appledore and Instow are just over three miles away. The area is also home to fantastic beaches, like Westward Ho! and Instow - approximately only 2 miles and 3 miles away respectively, Saunton Sands and Croyde, offering fabulous opportunities for surfing, swimming and kite surfing, or simply paddling in the rock pools and playing on the beach.
Boat trips are available from Bideford to Lundy Island. The picturesque historic fishing village of Clovelly, fascinating Dartington Crystal and beautiful RHS Garden Rosemoor also make great days out. Woodside really is a super holiday home, which you will want to return to again and again.
