Hele Bay is a lovely area just outside of Ilfracombe, offering a delightful beach, links to coastal walks through Forthglade and Hillsborough local nature reserve, Ilfracombe golf course, a local shop, café and pub, The Hele Bay Pub. From here, head into Ilfracombe, where there is fantastic harbour with Damiens Hirst's 'Verity' golf course, aquarium, theatre, beaches and coastal walks, a local museum and a great selection of eateries and shops for guests to enjoy. Hele Bay's clean water attracts many local swimming clubs and is great for water sport activities, as well as being very family friendly with sand and rock pools to investigate. There are also opportunities for an action packed afternoon with further watersports and excursions available in Ilfracombe.
