Nearby Chagford offers a choice of interesting shops and inns, a seasonal outdoor pool and tennis courts, and the cathedral city of Exeter is just 17 miles away. Sandy beaches are a 20 mile drive away. The Bakehouse is a lovely retreat with wonderful walking directly on to the moors from your doorstep; abundant wildlife and moorland archaeology.
