Willets Cottage is a charming terraced cottage located in the village of Appledore, Devon. With two bedrooms sleeping up to 3 people, this is an ideal destination for a romantic retreat or a small family getaway. Upon entering the former fisherman’s cottage, you will step into the open-plan space which is filled with a traditional charm. Within the seating area, there are two cosy sofas with a warming flame-effect electric fire, making it the perfect place to snuggle up during a winter’s evening. This relaxing space also possesses a TV for rainy days and evening entertainment. Through to the dining area, which has seating for up to four people. The galley kitchen features a modern and contemporary design with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, toaster and kettle. Hidden behind here is the well-designed shower room which comprises a walk-in shower, WC and basin all finished in white to create a clean and fresh feel. Following the stairs up from the dining area, you will discover the luxurious bedrooms. One bedroom features a single bed with a stacker bed available for flexibility, while the master bedroom has a king-size double bed and storage space. The cottage does not have a private garden; however, it is situated off a small courtyard with a bench. The nearest shop to the cottage can be located via the breath-taking coastal path, taking you just 10 minutes to walk to and the closest pub is a mere 5-minute walk away. To fill your days whilst visiting Bideford, you can visit the Northam Burrows Country Park, which is only a 5-minute drive from the cottage or for a day’s adventure you can explore Saunton Sands, a sandy beach which is a 50-minute drive away from the cottage.
