An attractive family bathroom completes the accommodation in style. The house is situated in a refreshing rural location with impressive scenery everywhere you look. Farranfore, the nearest village, is located approximately 3km away. It offers a shop, pharmacy, post office and pub/restaurant. Kerry airport is located 4.5km from the house. Killarney is just a short drive away. It is renowned as one of Ireland’s most popular towns with events and festivals throughout the year. There is an abundance of fine restaurants, shops and lively bars where traditional Irish music is available. From Killarney why not explore Killarney House, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Muckross House, the Gap of Dunloe, Ross Castle or Torc Waterfall. Hire a horse-drawn jaunting car and explore the National Park. Alternatively try a boat ride on nearby Lough Leane and take a walk on Inisfallen Island with its ancient monastic ruins. The world-famous coastal drive, the ‘Ring of Kerry’, leaves from Killarney to wonderful beaches and more glorious views. Other towns worth exploring nearby include Castleisland, Tralee, Kenmare and Dingle. Rossanean is the perfect setting to explore the marvels of Kerry and the Southwest of Ireland.
