This stone-built cottage is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, Connemara, within walking distance to the ferry terminal, and the Aran Islands, popular with tourists. Join family or friends to enjoy An Teach Ban in its entirety, a charming place to commence your stay, with a characterful twist on the retreats interior. Upon entering, a lounge/diner awaits, overlooked by a high ceiling, with a woodburning stove to elevate those wintry nights. The white-washed walls, pastel-coloured seating and lovely décor compliment the enchanting overtone. Gather together at the dining table adjacent, perfect for an early morning breakfast, or a dinner after the sun sets. On this floor you will also discover two bedrooms; a double with an en-suite shower room, and a second double showcasing a feature fireplace. Conveniently, there is a family bathroom well-appointed for the rooms, and a separate cloakroom next door. Make your way up the spiral staircase, where you will be welcomed by two thoughtful bedrooms, the first includes a small sofa, ideal for an evening read, whilst the lovely twin is a pretty place to wake up to. Should you be bringing along the little ones, a travel cot and highchair are available upon request. There's plenty of attractions in the area, including Spiddal village, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, Pearse’s Cottage Rosmuc, Galway Bay and the Aran islands. Ecclesiastical ruins from early Christian times, medieval castles and cliffs are just a glimpse of what is on offer here.
