As the night rolls in, venture to the bedroom to catch some shut eye, offering a sumptuous king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with choice of bath and shower over. Awaken with a cup of tea and breakfast and then later take a short drive to the Golden Ball pub for a refreshing pint and meal. The surrounding area is a real paradise, offering miles of beautiful walking and cycling routes, along with scenic estates and gardens including the 1700, award-winning Bourton House Garden. Stow-on-the-Wold is ideally positioned for those keen to learn about the history of the Cotswolds; visit the Neolithic burial remains of Belas Knap Long Barrow, the 13th-century Hailes Abbey, or Chastleton House, which has lovely grounds.
