At the rear is a lovely garden with lawn and picnic area where you can sit and soak up the sun with a refreshing drink of choice. The village of Tywardreath is home to some well regarded pubs and a selection of shops. From here you can visit an array of golden sandy beaches or try your hand at a number of exhilarating water sports. For a great day out take a day trip to the Eden Project. Popular Fowey, Charlestown and Mevagissey can all be reached within a short drive. Further afield, the tropical gardens of the Roseland Peninsula are well worth a visit, as are the famed surfing beaches of North Cornwall. Whatever you decide, Lowena Cottage is a comfortable, welcoming base to return to at the end of a fun packed day.
