From Padstow, you can take a passenger ferry to Rock which has a golf course and great access to the surfers paradise at. Polzeath Beach and the soft sand at Daymer Bay. Also close by, and fantastic for watersports or relaxing by the water, are the beaches of Harlyn and Constantine.
