The country-style kitchen is very attractive and well-equipped; a lovely space to whip up some scones for a Cornish cream tea or a simple lunch with fresh fish from the fishmongers nearby; a utility room and shower room are accessed externally; so useful for rinsing off the salt after a dip in the sea and the ideal place to leave wetsuits to dry. Perfectly positioned to take advantage of all the attractions of North Cornwall, a holiday here in Rock ticks the boxes for all the family. Follow the footpath nearby to enjoy a beautiful stroll across the fields down to Porthilly cove and to Rock beach beyond. Sailors, water-skiers and paddleboarders will be kept busy exploring the Camel Estuary; equipment and lessons can be booked at Rock waterfront. Keen and budding surfers should head to Polzeath beach to immerse themselves in surfing vibes and the white waters of this popular beach resort; afterwards satisfy hunger pangs at one of the many great cafes and restaurants; try Masterchef winner James Nathan at the St Enodoc Hotel; visit Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac or, of course, Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant or Bistro just across the estuary in Padstow.
