Set on the South West Coastal Path, enjoying sea glimpses, and home to horses and donkeys, dogs, chickens and a resident tortoise, the location of this home-from-home combines coast and country to give you the best of both worlds for your next Cornwall break. Inside, the open-plan living space is the real heart of the home, where cooking, dining and unwinding is welcome. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances for cooking up homemade treats, with a dining table to gather around whilst planning the next day’s itinerary. After a long day of exploring the scenic area, sink into the sofas to watch family favourites on the Smart TV, or head out to the garden for an evening tipple on the patio. Be sure to take advantage of the games field during your stay, where you can unleash your competitive side with a game of badminton or table tennis in the fresh country air. When sleep calls, choose from a double or a twin room to catch your rest in, with clothes storage and serviced by a shower room to freshen up in. While you're in the area, take a stroll down the peaceful country lane to join the South West Coast Path, which leads to the sandy beach at Perranuthnoe—home to two excellent cafés and a welcoming village pub. The Packing House is within easy walking distance of the village, and regular, reliable bus services from the top of the lane provide convenient links to Helston, Falmouth, Penzance, and beyond, making it easy to explore the region without a car. Grab your surfboard and head to one of the many nearby beaches, all family- and dog-friendly, and ideal for surfing, swimming, or simply soaking up the Cornish sunshine (beach towels and thermos flasks are provided if you’ve left yours behind!). A visit to the iconic St Michael’s Mount is a must—this spectacular tidal island, reached via a causeway from Marazion at low tide, boasts ancient castle walls, sub-tropical gardens, and breathtaking views across the bay.
