Move through into the kitchen, where you’ll find a range of appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and even a washing machine, so there’s no need to bring your whole wardrobe! Round off the evening with a dip in the hot tub before freshening up in the bathroom and whisking off to bed. The master provides a king-size with zip/link beds, whilst there is also a double bed, plus a twin, each wonderfully presented. Head into the centre of Porthtowan, a delightful village offering a choice of pubs and shops, and of course, a stunning sandy beach backed by imposing cliffs. Lace up your walking boots and take the pooch out for a wander along the South West Coast Path, spanning further along the St Agnes Heritage Coast, stopping to capture photos of historical sites, including Trevaunance Cove, and appreciating glorious coastal vistas. Make a stop off in the village of St Agnes with its many shops and cafés, or head to nearby Perranporth for its golden sands and excellent surfing conditions. Further afield, visit Cornwall’s only city, Truro, or head to the sub-tropical domes of the Eden Project, a must for garden lovers. Choose Tehidy for a wonderful break to Cornwall.
