The property features stunning views and was noted for its cleanliness and comfort. While generally well-received, issues included a loose cooking spoon and a drafty main bedroom window needing repair. Perched overlooking St Ives, at Tate Reach, within the Barnoon area, this two-bedroom, second floor apartment, enjoys far reaching sea and harbour views, from the living area and balconies, ideal for the town centre, Tate St Ives, St Ives scenic railway, and Porthmeor Beach, which are all within a short stroll. Sleeping four, plus an infant and welcoming a medium size dog, this pet-friendly home is perfect for a family wanting to bring all their loved ones away. Set on the second floor of this Victorian house, this holiday apartment has been lovingly refurbished with exposed beams, Velux windows and two sets of double French doors, which open out onto two bay styled balconies. Marvel at breath-taking views across St Ives to the harbour and out to sea; whether you're cooking, dining or relaxing, you'll enjoy this fantastic Cornish vista! Throw open the doors and breathe in the fresh sea air, watch out for wildlife through the supplied telescope, or snuggle up on the corner sofa which seats four. Opt for the cream leather armchair with matching footstool, and soak up the views, while entertainment is available on the Smart TV. The kitchen and dining area are within the living space, perfect for socialising with the chef, a Velux window lets sunlight flow onto an oak dining table with seating for four, providing a wonderful space to entertain or dine in, there can’t be many kitchen’s which enjoy such a fabulous view across St Ives, the second set of living area French doors, lead from the kitchen to the second seaward facing balcony, the kitchen with fitted with oak units, sleek black granite effect worktops and a washer/dryer, is well- appointed with everything you need, including sea views to inspire your dishes. There is a choice of two bedrooms, peacefully positioned to the rear and both benefiting from en-suite wet rooms, with rainfall shower, the master king-size has a view of Porthminster beach from the window, the twin enjoys views across to Clodgy, taking in the Tate St Ives, each is well presented with sumptuously dressed beds and plenty of storage space. If you love dining out St Ives has a variety of cafes and restaurants all serving fresh local produce and many with harbour and beach settings, the nearest beach, Porthmeor, has a beachside café set right on the blue flag awarded sands, with a seasonal lifeguard service and surf school, it’s a great place to try catching a wave, there is also a Michelin Plate restaurant found at Porthminster Beach, another of the town’s largest beaches, cobbled streets lead off the pretty harbour with an array of boutiques and art galleries and of course your just a few steps away from the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, filled with work from famous artist inspired by St Ives.
