A walkers heaven, the Penrose Estate can be joined from Loe Bar and offers a variety of walking routes through to Helston and along the coast. Explore the coastal footpaths towards the Lizard Point, England's most southerly point with spectacular coastal views of the scenic cliffs, and while in the area see the Bolenoew Animal Sanctuary where you can befriend the resident horses, donkeys and other farm animals. Embark on a kayaking or paddleboarding tour with Vertical Blue Adventures, based in Porthleven, you can receive expert tuition before heading onto the water to see the spectacular coastline up close. Other attractions within reach include St Michael's Mount in Marazion, The Minack Theatre in Porthcurno, and the pretty harbour town of Penzance.
