Located in the village square, this detached cottage provides stylish accommodation in the coastal village of Pentewan, South Cornwall. Nestled snugly in the heart of the village it is just a three minute walk to the beach, the old harbour and the village amenities, making it perfect for a traditional family holiday. Two pretty bedrooms overlook the village square and downstairs you will find an attractive, fully equipped kitchen with modern units and wooden worktop. Walk into the open plan dining and sitting area and look forward to relaxing on the comfy sofas at the end of your busy day in the sea air with the woodburner, a welcome addition on those chillier evenings or winter breaks. To the front there is a sunny terrace, perfect for alfresco dining and watching the world go by. Mallards is just 500 yards from Pentewan Beach which is perfect for sunbathing, swimming and watersports enthusiasts and for walkers and cyclists. You can find spectacular dog friendly beaches at Gorran Haven, Carhayes, Perranporth, Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth. The Pentewan Valley Trail offer 4km of inland paths through beautiful woodland along with the coastal footpath which stretches in either direction over rugged cliff tops and where you can spot hidden coves. For those who wish to tour the area, there are a number of great days out to be enjoyed. A trip to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, pretty Mevagissey and the Eden Project are all with a 20 minute drive, or further afield, the National Marine Aquarium at Plymouth is an impressive and educational attraction. With its low beamed ceilings this charming cottage will provide you with a wonderful and memorable holiday.
