The location of the apartment directly outlooks the sea front so you only have to cross Esplanade Road and go down the steps to get onto the beach. On the way down there is the wonderful SeaSpray cafe which has stunning views and delicious food. There are a wide selection of lovely restaurants to eat at within walking distance. At the other end of Fistral Beach the Fish House is a must visit (you will need to book a table). There is also a pizza restaurant and Rick Stein’s fish and chips. The newest addition is the Ugly Butterfly restaurant at the Headland Hotel. There are beautiful walks along the Pentire headland with stunning views. You can do a shorter loop or carry on along the South West Coast Path. Keep your eyes peeled for grey seals and peregrine falcons often seen on this stretch of the North Cornwall coast. Surfing lessons and surf hire are available a few steps away from the apartment at the Quicksilver Surf School. They also offer Coasteering adventures along secluded beaches to smugglers coves and caves. When you're ready to explore further, Newquay offers plenty to see and do. Boat trips and Sea safaris regularly run from Newquay Harbour, seeking out seals, dolphins and other marine wildlife. The harbour itself has two resident seals which follow the fishing boats in at the end of the day. Visit Newquay Zoo, the Blue Reef Aquarium or take a trip to Lappa Valley for a fun family day out. Further afield, approximately a 30 minute drive away the Eden Project offers a unique experience with its vast biomes and global gardens.
