Mullion is a perfect destination for those who wish to leave the car in the drive. Across the road there is a village store with deli counter and the Village has two excellent pubs and a very good boutique restaurant. Wander along the coastal footpath to Mullion Cove and Polurrian Beach or a little further along the coastal path Poldhu Cove, where you can enjoy the sunset with a pizza on the beach and a real ale whilst the children play on the beach. Surf hire and paddleboard hire are available from the beach café. Mullion Golf Club is a wonderful links course and welcomes visitors and there is a horse riding centre in the village. Should you wish to venture further a top pick is Kynance Cove towards the Lizard village, a beauty spot with an amazing beach café and where some of the Poldark series was filmed. For larger shops and supermarkets, head into the market town of Helston, where you will find Penrose walks that will take you alongside Loe Pool (Cornwall’s largest freshwater lake) to the vibrant and popular fishing village of Porthleven.
