St Ives has four beaches, independent shops and boutiques, and an abundance of restaurants, cafes, and inns lining the cobbled lanes in around the pretty harbour. The coast-hugging branch line, boarded from Lelant, is a fun and stunning train ride into the heart of St Ives. With galleries galore, visit the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Tate Gallery. A short drive away is St Michael’s Mount, this semi-isle can be reached by foot on the cobbled causeway at low water, or by ferry at high tide. Further around the bay, Gwithian and Godrevy beaches have excellent rock pools and surf, so bring your boards! Fantastic Porthkidney beach is also a short walk from the property.
