Situated just a short stroll from the long stretch of sandy beach at the peaceful village of Porthpean and commanding far reaching sea views over St Austell Bay, perfect for those who simply want to relax and connect with the coast. Guests here will find it convenient for exploring the scenic coastal footpath, spending lazy days on the beach or golfing at Porthpean's scenic 18 hole course without relying on a car. Within easy driving distance are the charming fishing village of Mevagissey and the historic harbour town of Charlestown, home to a magnificent fleet of square riggers, or tall ships as they are better known. The chic waterside town of Fowey is approximately nine miles from Porthpean and a day in the town is a must. With a wide choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as many galleries and boutique shops in which to browse, there is something for everyone.
