The property

This newly converted barn in the quiet hamlet of Treneague on the edge of the village of St Stephen offers a property with thoughtful detail and unique touches. The Corn Store’s contemporary semi-industrial style offers accommodation suitable for a couple, a family, or two separate couples. Its central location in mid Cornwall allows easy access to both the north and south coasts and to nearby attractions such as The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Enter the property into a spacious, bright and airy living/dining room. Bi-folding doors open out onto a large patio area leading onto a lovely private garden, an ideal area for children to play in or a place to sit and relax. A feature wooden wall, attractive A-frame ceiling with quirky lighting detail and rustic wooden flooring makes it a very calm and comfortable space to be in. The dining table is a great spot to enjoy meals or choose to dine out on the patio to really soak up your surroundings. The Corn Store has two bedrooms - a spacious double room with en-suite and a second bedroom which can be set up as a double or twin. Outside, there is off-road parking for 2 cars as well as an extensive lawn and patio area with seating and a barbecue, ideal for making the most of Cornwall's wonderful climate. The village of St Stephen offers a small selection of shops and eateries, while neighbouring St Austell has a wide selection of amenities and a host of attractions to enjoy. The area is surrounded by picturesque countryside for those who enjoy walking and cycling. The location allows convenient access onto the A30 only a couple of miles away, making travel quick and easy to your choice of moorland, coast, countryside or town. St Austell is close to Cornwall's south coast, where you will be spoilt for choice by glorious beaches and magnificent walking trails through historic fishing and smuggling villages and idyllic coves along the Polperro Heritage Coast, as well as the magnificent nature reserve on a peninsula offering sweeping coastal views along the Roseland Heritage Coast. Head north towards the Atlantic coast and discover the vibrant coastal town of Newquay, the UK's surfing hot spot, with a host of incredible sandy beaches that are excellent for surfing and a range of other water sports, as well family-friendly attractions including Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo.
